Assisted Living

Picture
Mountain View Assisted Living provides a safe and affordable environment where senior’s can age in place with dignity. Respect for the right of individuals to make their own decisions and direct their own care is the basis of our success. Rent includes a single bedroom suite, 24 hour staff, two meals per day and housekeeping services once a week. Rent is based on 70% of net income.

We also provide a vibrant activity calendar with regular activities such as kindergarten visits, live music, chair yoga, bingo, movie nights and seasonal events. Families and friends are always welcome and participate in events such as potluck dinners and live music.

Services Offered

The main target group are seniors that require some assistance in their activities of daily life but are still able to direct their own care. All tenants must be physically and cognitively able to vacate the building in the event of an emergency.

The waiting list for Mountain View Assisted Living is held by the Interior Health Authority (IHA). Clients go through an assessment process with the IHA Case Manager that determines if they meet the criteria for assisted living. Prospective tenants should contact the Home and Community office at the Golden & District Hospital by calling 250-344-3026.
